On April 27, 2023, Shymkent Higher Medical College hosted online an international scientific and theoretical conference on the topic “Updating of medical education is the way to international standards”, dedicated to the 100th anniversary of Iskakova Razia Shakenovna – the owner of the Florence Nightingale Medal, a graduate of the college.
The conference was attended by teachers of medical organizations of higher, technical and vocational education of the Russian Federation, the Republics of Sakha (Yakutia), Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kazakhstan, representatives of health department of the city of Shymkent.
Listened and discussed the reports and speeches of the conference participants, summarized the experience in training middle-level healthcare professionals, the conference participants were unanimous in updating medical education, introducing innovative technologies into the educational process and international standards of training, which is the key to successful training and retraining of specialists in secondary medical and pharmaceutical education, training competitive specialists.
At the end of the conference, to improve the professional skills of teachers within the framework of international cooperation were adopted a resolution and re-commendations and were presented letters of thanks and certificates to the participants.
