From April 17 to April 21, 2023, was held the Regional Championship “WorldSkills Shymkent – 2023” on the competence of “Medical and social care” on the basis of State-owned public enterprise with the rights of economic managment at the Higher Medical College of the Health department of Shymkent city, in which participated contestants from 9 medical colleges of the city of Shymkent .
The participants of the championship demonstrated their practical skills and patient care skills in three specially equipped areas-the areas of medical and social care:
Zone 1. Patient care in the postoperative period in a hospital.
Zone 2. Consultation of a patient with bronchial asthma in a day hospital.
Zone 3. Patronage of a patient with cancer at home.
During the championship, the work of the contestants was evaluated not only by experts-compatriots, but also by the chief nurses of the polyclinics and hospitals of Shymkent city.
According to the results of the Regional Championship of Professional Skills “WorldSkills Shymkent-2023”, Narzieva Marzhan, a contestant of the Higher Medical College of the specialty “Nursing”, was awarded a Diploma of the first degree.
