Abishev Galymzhan Motayevich was born in 1969 in the Turkestan region.

In 1995, he graduated from the Almaty State Medical Institute named after S. D. Asfendiyarov with a degree in hygiene and epidemiology. In 2006, he graduated in absentia from the Almaty University of Economics with a degree in State and Local Administration (Bachelor of Public Administration). In 2018, he graduated from the master’s degree program of the Moscow State Technical University. Yassavi, majoring in Management, was awarded the academic degree “Master of Economics and Business”.

He began his professional career in 1995 as an epidemiologist at the Turkestan District Sanitary and Epidemiological Station. In 1996-2003, he worked as a doctor-hygienist, epidemiologist, head of the epidemiological department of the Turkestan City Sanitary and Epidemiological Station. In 2003-2005, he worked as the Deputy Chief Physician for epidemiological issues of the South Kazakhstan Regional TB Dispensary, in 2005-2006 as a sanitary doctor of Petro Kazakhstan Oil Products LLP in the Branch of the Central Asian Service Group Company. In 2006-2008, 2010-2014, he was in the public service: chief specialist for the supervision of particularly dangerous and quarantine infections of the Department of State Sanitary and Epidemiological Supervision of the South Kazakhstan region, chief specialist, head of the Department for the coordination of medical and preventive care, Deputy head of the Health Department of the South Kazakhstan region, 2009-2010, 2014-2017 Director of the State Enterprise “Center for Sterilization of Instruments and Medical Products”.

In 2018-2019, Deputy head of the Department of Health Care of Shymkent, in 2019-2020, Deputy head of the Department of quality Control and Safety of Goods and Services of Shymkent KKKBTU of the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan, from September 2, 2020, Deputy head of the Department of Health Care of the city of Shymkent, from February 24, director of the state municipal enterprise on the right of economic management “Higher Medical College” of the Department of Health Care of Shymkent.
